Maddie Shea joined Fountainworks in June 2020. As Project Director, Maddie helps clients with project management, strategic planning, meeting facilitation, and research. She studied advertising at the University of Georgia, gaining an interest in strategic communication and design.
After working for a nonprofit after graduating, she moved to the Triangle to complete her Master of Public Administration at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Fountainworks, Maddie worked as a policy fellow for ncIMPACT, a non-partisan policy initiative at the School of Government. Her interests include collaboration, stakeholder engagement, research, and organizational development.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys traveling and reading novels, short stories, essays, and nonfiction. She also loves to cook, try new wines, and host dinner parties. In the warmer months, you can often catch Maddie taking in a baseball game.
