Warren Miller is founder and president of Fountainworks. He has worked extensively with local, state and federal government agencies, nonprofit organizations and schools to build alignment around ideas and actionable strategies and successfully manage their implementation.
Warren has been an adjunct professor at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University where he taught project management in the public sector. He has also served as a guest lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Master of Public Administration program where he has presented on collaborative governance and participatory focus groups.
He served as Policy Director to former North Carolina Governor Jim Hunt, where he helped manage the development and implementation of the Governor’s policy agenda. He also served as the Governor’s liaison to North Carolina’s nonprofit community.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Warren majored in political science.
The Pittsburgh native relocated to the Triangle for school, and stayed in the area with his wife, Lesley, and their two children. Warren enjoys traveling to explore new places. One of his greatest memories with his daughter was hiking Grays. He is a die-hard Steelers fan and proud Caniac, rooting on his teams with the family’s spoiled Goldendoodle, Molly, nearby.
