Fountainworks led a team of Extension employees in developing the new vision for the organization. Listening sessions were held across the 100 counties to hear from clients, partners, elected officials, and employees. Budget and staffing allotments were analyzed.
NC State Cooperative Extension developed a new staffing and funding model to sustain the organization. This process allowed Extension to refocus its services to meet its core purposes, while still engaging with the unique needs of the 100 counties they serve.
