The Result

Hailed as a first of its kind collaborative planning body around water supply, 13 local elected bodies signed a memorandum of understanding for cost-sharing, collaboration, regional water supply planning, and joint allocation request to the State of North Carolina. The Partnership and its work has been featured in national conferences and is the subject of an academic case study that highlights successful examples of collaborative governance.
